03. Results
The end result was a website that reflected the evolution of RapidRatings' brand. In the first year of launching, website traffic increased 50% and SEO improved dramatically. Users found the intentional and curated UX much easier to navigate, so traffic ended up at the correct forms with fewer questions.
02. Process
As the project lead, I was tasked with creating and executing a project plan: evaluating vendors, conducting interviews with internal stakeholders, wireframing, designing, building, and launching. My team and I used the findings from website performance and our interviews to identify and prioritize current site weaknesses and areas for improvement. From there, I mapped out and created wireframes for a new user journey, effectively splitting the site into two experiences based on the needs of our two major audience types. Once the final wireframes were approved, I used Webflow to build the 40+ page website myself. After a final QA by my team, we launched!
01. Background & Brief
At the time, the RapidRatings website had not been majorly refreshed in 5 years. The design was outdated, the copy was lengthy, and the target audience had grown. RapidRatings needed a website that better reflected its brand and addressed its new demographic of users, keeping UX and SEO in mind.
